The new hardware has certainly given the library a more contemporary and high-tech look and allowed us to improve the software and booking options too. We are happy that the new 2-hour sessions are proving popular.

Some of you have asked for a public toilet on the premises.
Our response:
At present we have not got the space to provide public conveniences but the nearest public toilets are only just at the top of the road.
You said:
Disappointed to find that the internet was down on several occasions after the installation of all that new hardware. Even more disappointed to learn that there is no IT support on weekends/evenings to sort problems out.
Our response:
We did encounter a number of technical issues when we introduced the new system but these have been fixed. The cost of having a technical support team on hand at weekends in case the system failed is not cost effective.
