The purpose of group of the Learning Difficulties Partnership Board Learning group is to:
- have a shared view of learning for adults with learning difficulties and the most important things to improve in South Gloucestershire
make it easier for people in colleges and other organisations to share information and ideas on learning for adults with learning difficulties
make people who are in charge of planning learning for adults with learning difficulties to work together more and do more 'joined up thinking'
make learning for adults with learning difficulties better so that people are more able to:
do the courses they want to
join mainstream courses
do courses that will help them get a job
train whilst working, leading to better jobs
- do courses which are enjoyable for their own sake and help people to learn new things, even if they are not looking for work
