The Empty Homes Loan Assistance scheme has been designed to assist empty property owners to carry out the works needed to return their properties into use. This loan can cover up to £15,000 of the cost of eligible works, and is repayable on a low interest fixed rate of 3%. A condition is that you rent the property at Local Housing Allowance rates for a minimum period of 3 years and on completion of the works, the property must also meet South Gloucestershire Council's Accreditation standards.
