South Gloucestershire News

SGN - June 2008

South Gloucestershire News is the council's magazine for residents. It's published several times a year and is delivered directly to households, as well as being available at council offices, libraries and leisure centres throughout the district.

It aims to keep people informed about local issues and key services provided by the council.

The current issue includes a feature on the development of a £300m science park at Emersons Green, and a £42m project to ease congestion in the West of England.

You can read about how the council is getting tough on fly tippers, supporting parents and helping children and young people in care.

There's a useful SORT IT! newsletter, full of information on reducing and recycling your waste.

And there are also updates from our partners in the health service, fire service and police.

You can download a copy from this website - click on the link in 'Read more' on the right-hand side of this page. Previous issues are also available.

If you would prefer a hard copy of the magazine, email us with your full address and we will send you one.

We always welcome your views on the magazine. Please send any comments using the email address listed in the contact information.
