Each sports centre needs your help in planning and developing the services we provide. Each of the sports centres has a different approach to user consultation;
- Yate Outdoor Sports Complex (YOSC) Consultative Committee
- Patchway Sports Centre – the user group incorporated into the Patchway Community Sports Association
- Downend Sports Centre – Downend Sports Centre User Committee Each committee has representatives from the users of that sports centre as well as representatives of the local communities and parish and South Gloucestershire councillors for the area.
The committees meet four times per year (YOSC is four-monthly) to discuss the performance of the sports centre, new initiatives and for the Community Sports Manager to listen to the views of the committee. They are an invaluable part of the decision-making process in South Gloucestershire Community Sports Centre groups, enabling us to develop a service that meets the needs of local people.
