Author visits Winterbourne Library tonight

Tonight, Wednesday 15 October, Saffia Farr makes a final visit on her current tour of South Gloucestershire libraries.
The local author will share tales of life in Kyrgyzstan in Central Asia where she once lived with her husband Matthew, a water engineer, working on aid projects. Saffia was 15 weeks pregnant with her first child during her time there.
Come along to Winterbourne Library to hear Saffia talk about her experiences and read extracts from her book "Revolution Baby: Motherhood and Anarchy in Kyrgyzstan".
The event starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £1.50 for library members; £2 for non-members in advance from any South Gloucestershire Library or by calling the library service on 01454 868006.
Winterbourne Library is located on Flaxpits Lane, Winterbourne.
