Community transport

Community transport is a range of transport provided by community-based voluntary organisations with support from the council, to cater for local transport needs which are not met by the commercial sector.

In South Gloucestershire, several community transport schemes with fully accessible minibuses which can be hired by community groups. They also run dial-a-ride services, which offer door-to-door transport for individuals.
