Why is work needed on the bridges?
Work is needed to strengthen the support columns to two footbridges over the ring road so that they remain capable of withstanding impact from vehicles.

The work start from 30th June
How long will the scheme take?
The work is expected to take approximately 12 weeks.
What diversions will be put in place?
Bromley Heath Road which is 170metres East of the Bromley Heath Roundabout will be closed throughout the works and diversions will be put in place. Details of the diversion route are available under 'read more'
The Ring Road will remain open but slight delays are expected as a result of the lane closures in place on the Ring Road throughout the period of work, especially during peak traffic flows.
