We want to make it easy for everyone to get around South Gloucestershire. We are already designated a centre of excellence for transport and have developed plans to further improve transport in the area in the coming years. We have now teamed up with our neighbouring councils – Bristol City, Bath and North East Somerset as well as North Somerset, to produce a Joint Local Transport Plan for the period from 2006 – 2011. This sets out how we propose to deliver an integrated and sustainable transport system.
