Across the UK it is estimated that 50,000 housing association and council homes are occupied by someone who shouldn’t live there or have obtained the tenancy fraudulently.
To help ensure that these properties are occupied by those who need them and not those who don't, we need your help.
If you know of a housing association home that has been sub-let by the tenant to someone else or you suspect that someone gave false information to obtain a tenancy they are not entitled please let us know. You can either report the fraud using our on-line form or using the freephone hotline - 0800 6940575 (through a voice call or through text).
Where information is provided that leads to a fraudulently occupied property being recovered, a government reward of £500 may be available.
