This memorial dates from 1919 and incorporates a structure dating from the late 14th century. The remains of a mediaeval cross-shaft and base were incorporated in the memorial erected shortly after WWI. The base is hexagonal with four steps and dates from the 20th century. This is surmounted by a plinth and the mediaeval cross-shaft and base. The memorial is topped with a cross also dating from the 20th century. The memorial is inscribed with the names of those who fell in WWI and WWII.
Chipping Sodbury School, Bowling Road, Chipping Sodbury
There is a small plaque mounted on the wall within the school building that lists the names of pupils who attended the school and who gave their lives during WWII.
St. John the Baptist Church, Old Sodbury
The wooden lych gate to St. John the Baptist church was erected in 1920 to commemorate those who lost their lives in WWI. It was amended after WWII and more recently another name, that of a member of the RAF, has been added. There is also a memorial plaque within the church itself.
