Are you part of a club or organisation involving children and young people? Are you based in South Gloucestershire? Then you can benefit from this free Child Protection Awareness seminar!

The Child-Safe Clubright seminar will:

  • introduce you to the free resource pack
  • provide clear guidelines for staff and volunteers who run local groups
  • help ensure that children and young people are safe in your care
  • enable you to provide information for parents and children
  • provide up-to-date information on current and relevant child protection legislation

What is Child-Safe Clubright?

The resource pack helps community, voluntary and sports groups (unaffiliated sports groups only) working with children and young people to be aware of child protection and safeguarding in their organisation. It provides a step by step guide to help implement effective child protection policies and procedures along with good practice advice, a Parents' Guide, Child-Safe Clubright posters, stickers, support booklets and much more.

Child-Safe Clubright supports a multi-agency approach to child protection and creates an open environment enabling free discussion of any child protection issues which may arise.

Child-Safe Clubright is supported and endorsed by the South Gloucestershire Local Safeguarding Children Board.

Child-Safe is a locally based registered charity, which aims 'to safeguard and prevent the abuse of children and young people away from home' and in their local communities through our Clubright project.

Child-Safe is supported and endorsed by Avon and Somerset Constabulary.
