The Better Health Partnership aims to:
- Inform the Local Strategic Partnership of local health and social care needs
- Develop strategies to meet needs and reduce health inequalities
- Provide a link between the people who devise strategies for health promotion and those who carry it out
- Ensure co-ordination and spot any gaps that may occur in our services
- Monitor health promotion targets and the Joint Health Promotion Work Programme
- Encourage sharing of data collection between the NHS and the local authority
- Organise the annual Better Health Seminar and Better Health Forum
The Better Health Partnership meets quarterly. It includes senior representatives from the primary care trust, the local authority, the voluntary sector and the North Bristol Trust.
