As part of an exciting initiative young people from Yate Library linked up with groups from Nelson Library in New Zealand and Goolwa Library in South Australia to write a story in 2 hours. See 'Library World' on the right-hand side for more information.

Chatterbooks

There are reading groups especially for young people to inspire them to read adventurously, develop confidence in expressing their opinions and have a good time reading and talking about books.

There are four groups in South Gloucestershire, catering for different age groups - Cadbury Heath, Downend, Filton and Yate.
