St. Peter's Church, Wapley
The memorial was erected after WWI and is constructed of a grey granite-like stone. The inscription states that it is 'erected to the memory of the fallen of this parish in the Great War 1914-1919'. The year 1919 represents the signing of the Peace Treaty of Versailles on 28th June of that year. A service of remembrance is held each year on Remembrance Sunday at 6.30pm.
