What if I disagree with your decision?

If you disagree with our decision you can:

  • Ask us to provide a written statement of reasons (this is a detailed explanation of our decision)
  • Ask us to look at our decision again

Please use our form "Disputing your Benefit Decision" which you can find under "Read More".

You have 1 month from the date of our decision to ask us to look at your claim again or appeal.
If you appeal against our decision your case may be heard before an appeals tribunal.
