Local Authorities have not had responsibility for processing applications for students who commenced courses of Higher Education from September 2009. All students who started their courses in September 2009 will have had their applications processed by Student Finance England.

In line with the Governments timetable for the centralisation of student support services there will be a rolling transfer of services to Student Finance England between 14 February 2011 and 7 March 2011. This means that after 7 March 2011 all enquiries should be directed to Student Finance England.
