Farm improvements
- The children's play area has been rebuilt and most of the surrounding stone walls have been repaired. It's now proving to be very popular with our younger visitors.
- The cafe is now open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Opening times may vary during the winter months depending on the weather but we try to open around lunch time on the set days.
- We have extended the footpaths so that you can now walk around much more of the farm. A larger kissing gate has been installed in the car park enabling a wheelchair accessible circular route by the cattle and horse fields (Please note that this route is a little rough in places). There's also a tarmac path suitable for wheelchairs which joins the farm with Kingswood Remebrance Park.
- The outside of the farmhouse has been smartened up and an old dovecote uncovered at the back of the house. Work will continue to upgrade the building to provide better community facilities.
- The Hereford cattle have been calving this autumn.
- The spring lambs are now in the paddocks.
Whats on
During the summer the Friends meet on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm for working parties at the farm. Check their website for forthcoming events.
