Foursome by Jane Fallon
This novel kept me intrigued and amused as it observes the lives of two couples who have known each other for twenty years since their university days but suddenly find their friendship put to the test as one couple separates. The story follows the characters as they pick up the pieces of their fractured friendship and come to realise it is a time of change and realisation for all of them. Jane Fallon makes the characters truly believable - I just couldn’t put this book down.
