From High Street, Winterbourne turn into Flax Pits Lane (there is a Co-op on the corner). The library is on the left past the Ridings High School swimming pool. There is on-road parking in front of the library.

Special events
- Pre-school storytime for under-5s every Wednesday (term-time only) 9.30 – 10.00am. Stories and a craft activity followed by refreshments
- Activities for older children in the holidays
- Tea and coffee available all day, every day at only 40p
- Rhyme Time for babies and pre-school children: Tuesdays 9.30-10.00am, followed by refreshments.
- Dad’s Storytime: Stories and a simple craft activity for Dads and their children (up to the age of six) 10.30 – 11am, usually the last Saturday of the month – but please check with library staff.
- Chatterbooks: a reading group for 8 to 10 year olds. Once a month on a Saturday: 10.30 - 11.30am
