Directions

The library is part of a new development, the Shield Retail Park, at the Junction between the A38 and the Filton Link Road.
If approaching from the A38, turn off as if going to Filton. The entrance is a slip road on your left.

If approaching from Filton go completely round the roundabout to reach the other carriageway. The entrance is a slip road on your left.

The library is next to 'Snow and Rock'.

There is ample parking (including disabled) in front of the library.

• Pre-school storytime and rhymetime every Tuesday from 9.30am – 10.00am.
• Spanish Group for children – Tuesday term time: 4.00 – 4.30 pm. 
• Debt Advice Sessions offered by North Bristol Advice Centre every Monday between 10.00am and 12.00.  Appointments should be made through North Bristol Advice Centre on 0117 9515751.
• Chatterbooks – A monthly reading group for children in years 5 and 6 on Saturdays from 2.30 to 3.30pm. Please speak to library staff to confirm dates.
• Free Computer Classes for Beginners at Filton Library: Wednesdays;

• Computer Support Volunteers are available for one-to-one basic IT sessions on Tuesday afternoons and Saturday mornings, including helping with the BBC’s First Click basic IT course. Please ask staff for details.
•  Volunteers Drop in Sessions at Filton Library on Tuesday mornings.
• Knitting Group: meets every Thursday evening 5.45-6.45pm. All welcome, refreshments available

• Teen Reading Group: A new monthly reading group for those in years 7 to 10 meets on Saturdays from 10.30am – 11.30am. Please speak to library staff to confirm the date of the next meeting.
