Starting school for the very first time
Reception - Children born between 1 September 2005 and 31 August 2006 may start school in September 2010. To apply for school place please see below.
On-line admissions
The on-line admission system is now closed. If you still need to make an application please use the paper version which you can access from the 'Do it now' section on this page. These applications will now be treated as 'late applications' and will not be considered until all the on-time applications have been processed.
Paper admissions
The Admission to School Booklets which contain an application form for a school place will be available from your local primary and secondary school from the first day of term. The closing date for admission to primary or secondary school for the start of the academic year 2010-11 is 4.30pm 23 October 2009, all applications received after this date will be considered as late applications.
