The council aims to provide free, clear and unbiased information on applying for admissions to schools in South Gloucestershire at the start of the academic year and also during the academic year. The information within these pages covers all aspects of school admissions within South Gloucestershire and includes transport to schools, term dates, school meals, curriculum support, school performance, school planning, health and safety in schools, ICT and the financing of schools. 

On-line Admissions

To access your on-line application to view your offer of a school place please use the link in the 'Do it now' section called 'Apply for a school place'. These school offers will also be posted out 2nd class post on the 2nd March 2009. If you have not received your offer by 9th March 2009 please ring the Children & Young People Information Service: 01454 868008.

Paper admissions

If you submitted your application on paper, your offer will be posted second class post on 2nd March 2009. If you have not received your offer by 9th March 2009 please ring the Children & Young People Information Service: 01454 868008.
