Housing Benefit BACS payments due 11 May & Housing Benefit Cheque payments dated 14 May 2012

If you were due to receive a Housing Benefit BACS payment into your account on 14 May 2012 please note that due to a processing error these payments have been delayed and will not now be in your account until Tuesday 15 May.

If you were due to receive a Housing Benefit Cheque payment dated 14 May 2012 please note that due to a processing error the cheques were not sent out on 10 May as expected. These cheques will be sent out today, 11 May 2012, by first class post and as such you should still receive these by 14 May 2012

We apologise to those affected and if you have incurred any bank charges as a direct result of your payment being received late you may be able to reclaim the charges from us. You will need to provide us with a copy of your bank statement or the letter from your Bank which tells you of the charges applied. This should be sent to the Benefit Service at the following address;

South Gloucestershire Council
Chief Executive and Corporate Resources Department
