Carers

Person helping an old man in a wheelchair

A carer is someone who helps to look after a friend, relative or neighbour who for a number of possible reasons cannot manage at home without them.

We provide a range of services for carers. To access these services you will need to have an assessment. This is to find out what needs you have and what services would best meet those needs. For more information, visit our page on needs assessments.

There may be a charge for these services.

For further information about services we provide for carers download the document 'Do you look after someone?'
