The South Gloucestershire Supporting Independence Team (SIT) provides short term, fixed objective, focussed skill training and educational opportunities working 1 to 1 to gain and retain skills that will enhance the individual's independence.
The team is person centred, flexible, inclusive and aims to work in partnership with other agencies.
Our main areas of activity include:
- Support to develop home skills/independence
- Budgeting
- Road Safety
- Travel Training
- Support to access college
- Support to find and go to a social/leisure activity
- Lifeskills home and community safety training
