Choices 4 U supports adults with learning difficulties to access community and leisure opportunities that promote independence and control.
Choices 4 U use Kingswood Leisure Centre and Yate Leisure Centre as bases to work from. We are able to use the facilities at the Leisure Centres. This means that some activities are in the gym, swimming pool and sports hall. We also go out into the community to do activities.
Choices 4 U at Kingswood runs 3 days a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.30am - 4.00pm.
Choices 4 U at Yate runs 2 days a week. Tuesday and Thursday from 9.30am - 4.00pm.
We do not run on bank holidays.
We will support you to:
- make choices to do activities that you are interested in as well as thinking about new interests
- access leisure facilities that will help you feel healthier and confident
- spend time with your friends and make some new friends
- think about work opportunities and get help and advice on how to do this
- learn how to travel independently with support from the Travel Buddy
Scheme
- develop your independence skills in daily living
- learn new skills by having some training
