The Meeting Place provides social activities for people with learning difficulties.
The Meeting Place holds a drop-in session, normally on the 1st Saturday of each month at various venues around South Gloucestershire.
People can take part in a wide range of activities, meet their friends or make new ones.
Past activities have included:
- Fire safety
- First aid
- Keeping safe in your community
- A discussion about hate crime
- Skittles
- Meals out
- Boat trips
- Discos
- Sponsored walks
The Meeting Place is free to join, but members need to pay for the activities they take part in.
Discos are £3.50, all other events are £2.00 unless members are going out for a meal and then they need to pay for their food and drink as well. All prices cover the cost of administration, venues, discos etc.
