The council has established a helpdesk to deal with 'Streetcare'-related telephone calls and messages, including waste management services.
Residents only need to call one number (01454 868000) to access help and information about the council's waste management and other services (eg litter, fly-tipping, lighting, highways and public open spaces). All waste services requests and queries are sent electronically to SITA South Gloucestershire's office at Dean Road.
The council's client unit have direct access to both the helpdesk system and the contractor's management information system. Progress of queries, requests or problems can be monitored and any concerns are raised directly with the appropriate staff within SITA.
A joint complaints monitoring system is in operation.
