Useful information
Whilst the summary information associated with a newly registered planning application will be available at the time of the application being validated, the plans and documents associated with these applications will be available to view through the planning online service within five working days of registration of the application. If none are displayed at the time, you may wish to try a few days later. If you continue to experience difficulties accessing information via this service, please contact the Customer Contact Centre on the number to the right hand side of this page, or email details to the planningapp email post box.
Please note:-
The council is not able to guarantee that the electronic file record at every stage in the determination of an application is necessarily a fully comprehensive record of all documents under consideration. This is because such documentation may be received in many different ways and formats, and at different stages in the determination process and there will therefore inevitably be occasions where not all the documents under consideration will have been scanned or be available to view through the website.
The council does intend that all documents submitted as part of the application itself and any subsequent amendments which are the specific subject of consultation will be made available within its published standards. The electronic record will be up-dated at the point that a decision is issued on the application (or shortly afterwards), to ensure that it is a full record of the documents taken into consideration. Application details published on the website will comply with data protection legislation and the council’s retention policy.
