If someone from outside the European Community intends to live in this country they will be asked by the Immigration Services to provide evidence that the property they are moving to is suitable for occupation and will not be overcrowded.
The Private Sector Housing team can carry out an inspection of your property for this purpose. There is a charge of £50, including VAT, for this inspection. If you wish to use this service please phone us on 01454 868126. We will normally carry out an inspection within 10 working days.
Alternatively, you may obtain a report from a suitably qualified Surveyor.
