When a building is unsecured or in a derelict condition we will take whatever steps are necessary to ensure the safety of the public. If the building needs securing immediately we will arrange this. Otherwise, we will serve a notice on the owner of the building requiring them to secure the building. If the building owner does not respond to the notice we will arrange for the work to be carried out.
