Play on Prescription (POPs) gives young children an opportunity to play and have fun in safe and secure surroundings.
Activities such as Soft Play and swimming are provided free of charge with POPs vouchers - if you have an Active Card and qualify for the scheme.
Vouchers are issued to families most in need. To find out if you qualify, please ask your health visitor or contact your nearest Sure Start Centre.
Children love to play and it can help them:
- Develop and improve their co-ordination
- Broaden their imagination
- Explore their environment
- Interact with other children
