Enjoy the great outdoors (and indoors)!
The Edgecumbe family are a Really Active Family! Dave and Wendy and their two sons, Tom (12) and Fraser (9) enjoy the outdoors life e.g. cycling, hiking, swimming, camping and scouting. They recently experienced the ‘Go Ape’ high ropes adventure in the Forest of Dean. In addition they are all active on their allotment, growing their own healthy food. The whole family attends Active Family Club at the Sports Village in Winterbourne where they are able to try a variety of sports and activities – as if they weren’t active enough already!
Dave and Tom both had surgery recently and surprised the doctors by returning to activity sooner than expected. The doctors acknowledged that it was because father and son were so active that they were able to recover so quickly. Tom is keen to point out that sport has also been a boost to his confidence.
