Our Purpose
The Priority Neighbourhoods team undertakes community engagement work with individuals, community based organisations and key stakeholders to identify local needs and to encourage activity to address them. These have been identified as Cadbury Heath, Filton, Kingswood, Patchway and Staple Hill.
What do we do
Extensive and creative community consultation exercises in Priority Neighbourhoods.
Continue to support the development of existing and new community partnerships in Priority Neighbourhoods including Safer and encourage them to take responsibility for action planning.
Engage with local communities and key stakeholders in the development of action plans for Priority Neighbourhoods.
Establish and coordinate key stakeholder groups to take forward practical action.
Encourage further commitment to the improvement of Priority Neighbourhoods and targeting of resources by Council departments and other key stakeholders.
Monitor the implementation of action plans in conjunction with neighbourhood partnerships.
