Communities can be localities, such as neighbourhoods, shared cultural identities or a group of people who share a common community experience or interest.


We are keen to engage with all communities and have two community engagement teams:

Our community engagement teams can help with:

  • Managing projects
  • Fundraising support and advice
  • Grant application advice
  • Training
  • Developing polices - for example health and safety guidelines, child protection policy, help with consultations and other legal frameworks
  • Organising local events
  • Equalities information
  • Getting involved in decision making processes
  • Linking with other groups in the voluntary and community sector and with statutory agencies
