Applications to become a British citizen need to be arranged through the Home Office. As part of the process, you must take a citizenship oath and pledge at a citizenship ceremony. Ceremonies in South Gloucestershire take place at Kingswood Civic Centre. You can choose to have a standard group ceremony, the cost of which is included in the fee paid to the Home Office or a non standard ceremony that must be paid for. Fees are applicable from 1st May 2012.
