E-Safety Award


Who is it for?

  • Young people aged 11-25

What do you have to do?

  • Take part in activities relating to staying safe on the internet
  • Complete record sheets to show what you have achieved and learnt; this can be done with the support of a youth worker
  • Activities such as teaching a younger member how to use a site safely, completing an online module on E-safety, identifying an issue and finding out any advice on how to keep safe in that situation. 

The E-safety unit is made up of three sections:

  • Personal development (4hrs);
  • Skills (3 hrs); and
  • Issue based learning (3hrs).

What do you get?

  • After completing the three sections you get an accredited unit which can be used towards completing the South Gloucestershire Award.
