Who is it for?
What do you have to do?
- Take part in activities relating to staying safe on the internet
- Complete record sheets to show what you have achieved and learnt; this can be done with the support of a youth worker
- Activities such as teaching a younger member how to use a site safely, completing an online module on E-safety, identifying an issue and finding out any advice on how to keep safe in that situation.
The E-safety unit is made up of three sections:
- Personal development (4hrs);
- Skills (3 hrs); and
- Issue based learning (3hrs).
What do you get?
- After completing the three sections you get an accredited unit which can be used towards completing the South Gloucestershire Award.
